Fra Dolcino (c. 1250 – 1307) was an Italian preacher burnt at the stake in 1307, and was often described as being a heretic inspired by the Franciscan theories. He was living with his partner Margherita and his followers for the last two years on the top of an inaccessible mountain close to the village of Rassa, the Parete Calva, and they left an important sign in the culture of the Valley.
